How we help protect you
Our team uses a variety of technologies and industry best practice security controls to protect our members and our business every day. These include industry standard firewalls, hardware and devices that are actively logged, monitored and physically secured. We ensure that information in transit between your PC and our Home Banking Server cannot be read or changed.
- Controlled access to our members’ information, financial systems and databases
- A seven-digit Personal Access Code (PAC) and the last eight digits of your debit card (your Personal Access Number, or PAN) required to set up online banking
- A unique username and password required to log in to your account
- Online banking sessions that time-out automatically if there has been no activity for 15 minutes
When we see unusual activity or have other concerns, we may take a variety of steps, including locking online account access, blocking certain transactions, or limiting transaction amounts.
We have an internal team of cyber security experts who manage a rigorous cyber security program and are continuously monitoring our networks and systems. We also regularly work with independent industry-leading third party cyber security experts, to ensure our systems are safe.
