2025 Board of Directors election and Ordinary Resolution
When you join Coast Capital, you automatically become a member through your purchase of Membership Shares. This means that you, along with all other members, have a voice in our credit union, equal access to all the services we offer, and the right to vote on certain decisions impacting the credit union.
It’s time to cast your vote for Coast Capital’s Board of Directors Election, as well as the ordinary resolution being put before the membership. Advance voting will be available from August 25, 2025, at 8am Pacific Time (PT) / 11am Eastern Time (ET) and will close on September 18, 2025, at 5pm PT / 8pm ET. Voting will be available for those attending the Annual General Meeting (AGM) in person, and online on September 25, 2025 from 4pm PT to 4:45pm PT / 7pm ET to 7:45pm ET.

How to vote
Advance Voting opens August 25, 2025, at 8am PT / 11am ET and closes on September 18, 2025, at 5pm PT / 8pm ET.
There are three ways to participate and register your vote:
- Online: Vote online at coastcapitalsavings.com/election.
Use the 13-digit control number on your mailed ballot and follow the online instructions to submit your vote. You can also use your smartphone or tablet to submit your vote by scanning the QR code on your ballot. We encourage you to vote online if you’re able to do so. - Mail-in: Use your mailed ballot and make your voting selections. Insert your ballot into the supplied business reply envelope. Seal your envelope and drop it off at any Canada Post mailbox.
To ensure your vote is counted, ballots must be received by the Returning Officer by September 18, 2025, at 5pm PT/8pm ET.
If you’re a business member, online voting is not currently available to you so please mail your completed ballot in the business reply envelope provided. - At the Annual General Meeting (AGM): Limited voting to cast your votes for the directors election and the ordinary resolution will be available during the AGM with polls reopening at 4pm PT/ 7pm ET and remaining open until 4:45pm PT/7:45pm ET. Other voting during the AGM will be on procedural matters only.
Please note that in-branch voting is no longer available.
Ordinary Resolution
The board of directors is recommending members approve one ordinary resolution to appointment the auditor. Read the specific proposed resolution in the 2025 Annual General Meeting & Board of Directors Election guide.
2025 Annual General Meeting
Results of the election and the ordinary resolution will be announced at the Annual General Meeting on Thursday, September 25, 2025. Results will also be posted on this page.
