Board Nominations, Election and AGM

As a member/owner of Coast Capital Savings, you have a say in how the credit union is governed by nominating candidates and voting in our annual director election and on any resolutions proposed. An informed and engaged membership is the goal of every credit union and something that sets us apart from other financial institutions.

2025 Board Election and Annual General Meeting

• Details on the date and location for Coast’s 2025 Board election and Annual General Meeting (AGM) are currently being finalized and will be shared at a later time. Coast Capital received Court approval to hold its 2025 Board election and AGM later this year to allow members and the organization to focus on the merger proposal with Prospera and Sunshine Coast credit unions.
• In the meantime, Coast Capital members will vote on a merger proposal with Prospera and Sunshine Coast. These results will be announced at Coast Capital’s Special General Meeting, online and in branch on or before July 8, 2025. The date for Coast Capital’s Special General Meeting will be announced shortly.
