We always want to deliver the most up-to-date digital banking experience to our members, so we’re consistently making enhancements to perfect your experience. These are some of the newest features and enhancements that we’ve incorporated into our digital banking experience.

Please note: If you haven't migrated to the new digital banking experience, some of the help in these pages may not apply to you. If you have questions about online banking, give us a call 1.888.517.7000. When it's time to upgrade to the new digital banking experience, you'll receive a notification when you log in to online banking on desktop, or you’ll get a prompt to download our new app. Please continue using the old app until you are prompted to switch – if you download it beforehand, you’ll receive an error message. Once you accept the notification or download the app, we'll guide you through the setup process step-by-step. Learn more.

Account opening
We’ve made it easier for you to open accounts through digital banking. This includes chequing accounts, savings accounts, term deposits, RRSPs and TFSAs. You can even open up a USD chequing account.

Modify scheduled/recurring transfers
We’re giving you the gift of time. Change the amount or frequency of your scheduled or recurring transfer by simply editing it rather than deleting it and setting up a new one.

USD transfers
Transfer to and from USD chequing accounts—just like a regular funds transfer. No need to call or come into a branch. We’re just as excited as you are for this new feature.

Activity Timeline
We’ve implemented a useful "audit trail" where you can see all your past transactions on a timeline including login times, paycheque deposits, bill payments etc.

Session time-outs
In case you get distracted, we’ll remind you that your online banking session is still open after 20 minutes. If you’re away longer than 20 minutes, we’ll log you out and let you know that the session had timed out.

PDF transaction receipts
For record keeping purposes, you can print or email yourself transaction receipts (like bill payments) for future reference.

Self-serve password reset
Change your password through online or mobile banking. You won’t need to contact us if you forgot your password—you can simply reset it yourself.

New personalization features:

  • Set up favourite transactions to save yourself time in the future.
  • Add or change your profile and background images.
  • Quick Access Shortcuts will let you view up to three account balances with Quickview
  • 3D Touch shortcuts: if your Apple mobile device has the ‘Force Touch’ feature, you can set up 3D Touch Shortcuts to easily access key areas of the app right from your home screen. The available shortcuts include Transfer Funds, Pay Bills, Deposit Cheque, and Account Details.

One-time security codes
As an enhanced security measure, we’ll send you a one-time security code through a text message to your mobile phone or through email when you attempt to do the following:

  • Add a new bill vendor (for each new bill vendor added)
  • Update contact information
  • Add an e-Transfer recipient
  • Change or reset your password
We’ll also perform real-time risk analysis and might send you a one-time security code when you attempt to:
  • Log in
  • Pay a bill
  • Transfer funds
Touch/Face ID
Set up TouchID (via your fingerprint) to easily access your accounts through our mobile app. You can also access it through FaceID if your phone has this capability.

Device management
Protect yourself and your information in the event that you lose your phone or tablet by disabling access on your computer.

Proactive fraud detection
We've enabled sophisticated fraud detection technology that‘ll assess real-time risk based on a number of indicators related to your information and the device you’re using to log in.
