ALERTS

Let us watch your account balance and activity for you with digital banking alerts via text or email. You choose which alerts you’d like to receive, such as when your account balance is low, when your password has been changed, or when you need to feed your cat. Ok, you’ll have to remember that last one on your own.

  • Find out when your balance is low.
  • Find out when withdrawals and deposits are made.
  • Set up login and bill payee alerts to protect against potential fraud on your account.
  • If you're a business owner using Coast Online Banking for Small Business, you can also get an alert for pending transactions awaiting your approval.
Please note: If you haven't migrated to the new digital banking experience, some of the help in these pages may not apply to you. If you have questions about online banking, give us a call 1.888.517.7000. When it's time to upgrade to the new digital banking experience, you'll receive a notification when you log in to online banking on desktop, or you’ll get a prompt to download our new app. Please continue using the old app until you are prompted to switch – if you download it beforehand, you’ll receive an error message. Once you accept the notification or download the app, we'll guide you through the setup process step-by-step. Learn more.


How to sign up for alerts
  1. Sign in to Coast Capital digital banking.
  2. Click on Settings and select Alerts & Notifications.
  3. Choose Security or Transnational alerts.
  4. Select the preferred account.
  5. Select the alerts you would like to receive.
  6. Click save.
