Community memberships are for unincorporated organizations, like Parent Advisory Committees (PACs), sports teams, etc. To open this membership type, you’ll need the following:

Sponsors

Since an unincorporated entity cannot become a member of the credit union in its own right, we require two active Coast Capital members to act as sponsors and signers for the organization. These sponsors will serve as the responsible parties, regardless of their roles or titles.

  • One sponsor must be an active personal member of Coast Capital Savings with a membership that has been open for more than 6 months and is in good standing.
  • The second sponsor must either be an existing Coast Capital member or qualify to open a new personal membership, including meeting the $5 membership share requirement.
