Important FAQs
Call us immediately at 1.888.517.7000 (Mon-Sat, 8am-8pm; Sun, 9am-5:30pm) if you:
- Can’t locate your debit card
- Do not recognize transactions on your Coast Capital bank statement or Coast Online Banking
- Are concerned your Personal Access Code or PIN have been compromised
- Notice cheques missing from your cheque book
- Do not receive your bank statement by the usual delivery date
- Responded to a scam artist by providing personal/financial information or money
- Are unable to locate your personal identification such as driver’s license, passport or social insurance number
Call any creditors immediately if your bank cards, credit cards or identification are lost or stolen. You should also report this incident to the police and Canada’s credit reporting agencies at:
- Trans Canada Union at 1-800-663-9980
- Equifax Canada at 1-800-465-7166

Review all recent transactions on your account linked to those cards including chequing, savings, credit etc. Ensure that there hasn’t been a request for an address change, title change, PIN or PAC change, or new cards or cheques ordered to be sent to another address.

- Reviewing all recent transactions on your account(s)
- Placing flags on your account(s)
- Cancelling and reordering a new MemberCard
- Putting a stop payment on any missing cheques
- Helping you change your Personal Access Code for Coast Online Banking and Coast-by-Phone® Banking
- Restricting or stopping access to your account(s)
- Helping you open new account(s)
