Alerts and notifications

Summary

Alerts and notifications help keep you informed of important activity related to your membership and accounts. You can choose to turn on alerts for transactions, login activity, bill payees, and Money Manager.

For your security, the following alerts are automatically turned on for all members:

  • Password or username changes
  • Access blocked
  • New biometric access set
  • Password attempt lock (if your membership is locked out due to too many incorrect password attempts)

Turn on transactional alerts

Transactional alerts keep you updated on your balance and transaction activity. They include:

Balance

  • Daily balance
  • Weekly balance
  • Monthly balance
  • Low balance

Deposits

  • Withdrawals
  • Deposits

Credit

  • Remaining Credits

Many of these are customizable. For example, you can specify that you’d like to receive a low balance alert when your balance drops below $500, or that you’d like to receive a withdrawal alert when a withdrawal over $1000 is made.

How to do it

  1. Sign in to digital banking
  2. From the menu, select Settings, then Alerts & Notifications
  3. Select Transactional Alerts
  4. Select the account you wish to receive the alert for
  5. Select the alert type, and use the toggles to specify how you'd like to receive the alert
  6. Select Save

Turn on login alerts

Security alerts alert you of security-related activity on your accounts, like login activity, password changes and more. For security purposes, these alerts are automatically turned on for all members:

  • Password changes
  • User locked (if your membership is locked out)
  • New biometric access set
  • Password attempt lock (if your membership is locked out due to too many incorrect password attempts)

You can also choose to turn on login alerts to be notified whenever your membership is logged into.

How to do it

To learn more about what alerts are turned on, and to turn on login alerts:

  1. Sign in to digital banking
  2. From the menu, select Settings, then Alerts & Notifications
  3. Select Security Alerts. You'll see the different types of alerts that are turned on.
  4. To turn on login alerts, select Login
  5. Use the toggles to specify how you'd like to receive the alert
  6. Select Save

Turn on bill payee alerts

Bill payee alerts alert you when a new bill payee is added to any one of your memberships.

How to do it

  1. Sign in to digital banking
  2. From the menu, select Settings, then Alerts & Notifications
  3. Select Bill Payee Alerts
  4. Use the toggles to specify how you'd like to receive the alert
  5. Select Save

Turn on Money Manager alerts

Money Manager alerts help you keep track of your budgets within Money Manager, our personal financial management tool. These alerts help you keep your spending in check by alerting you when you’re nearing or have exceeded your Money Manager budgets:

  • Budget projected to be exceeded
  • Budget exceeded

How to do it

  1. Sign in to digital banking
  2. From the menu, select Settings, then Alerts & Notifications
  3. Select Money Manager Alerts
  4. Select the alert type, and use the toggles to specify how you'd like to receive the alert
  5. Select Save
