The health and safety of our members and employees are always a top priority, and with the current concerns about the coronavirus (COVID-19) we want to provide you with details on the precautionary measures we are taking to continue to operate safely and help mitigate the spread of the virus in the communities we serve.
WHAT ARE WE DOING TO KEEP MEMBERS AND EMPLOYEES SAFE
1. Alignment with the Public Health Agency of Canada
Our internal health advisory team is monitoring updates on COVID-19 and is following the latest recommendations provided by the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), who are working with local health authorities, and provincial and federal agencies to track and assess the spread of COVID-19. We are communicating regularly with our employees to keep them informed and to ensure their safety and that of our members. This includes providing our employees with the knowledge to assess their health and the support to stay home if they are not feeling well.
2. Enhanced cleaning and sanitization in branches
In addition to our janitorial teams undertaking enhanced cleaning and disinfection of our branches every day, our branch staff are also disinfecting high-touch areas throughout the day, and we have installed hand sanitizer stations in our branches for use by both employees and members.
3. Supporting our members impacted by COVID-19
All of us at Coast Capital understand that this issue can impact our members in various ways, including their financial well-being. We are here to help. EXTRA STEPS YOU CAN TAKE TO STAY SAFE
1. Take advantage of our remote banking options
Virtually, almost all of your banking needs can be achieved from the comfort of your home. Take advantage of our online and mobile banking features 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, or call our Contact Centre team available 7 days a week at 1.888.517.7000 (Mon-Sat, 8am-8pm; Sun, 9am-5:30pm). And, with your Coast Capital Savings debit card, you have access to thousands of surcharge-free ATMs across Canada.
2. Banking at our branches
If you visit one of our locations, we will continue to greet you warmly with a smile or a wave as we are following the recommendations of health care professionals to avoid handshaking during this time. In the event one of our locations closes temporarily, we will continue to serve you at one of our other locations, contact centre, and through online and mobile banking.
