If you’re not already a Coast Capital member, you’ll be able to sign up for digital banking to be automatically entered.

Signing up before November 1 means your account information will be visible to you on Coast Online® Banking or the Coast Mobile® Banking app, and you can start transacting online immediately on November 1.

Sign up for digital banking

You’ll need the following to sign up for digital banking for the first time:

  • Personal Access Code (PAC): Most members2 will receive a 7-digital Personal Access Code in the mail before October 31. This security code is used to protect your account(s) against unauthorized access, and to authenticate yourself when you call the Advice Center. Do not share it with anyone, including our team. You’ll receive this in the mail mid-October.
  • Last 8 digits of your activated debit card. Your new debit card will be mailed mid-October and will include instructions to activate your card.

To sign up:

  1. From your mobile phone or desktop, go to coastcapitalsavings.com/signup
  2. You’ll be asked to create a digital banking username and password.
  3. Set up 2-step authentication by verifying your mobile phone number and email address.
  4. Review your information and provide consent.

After you complete these steps, you’ll have access to digital banking starting November 1, and you’re automatically entered to win $2,500.

eStatements

motusbank members will continue to receive statements according to their preferences at motusbank. If you currently receive paper statements, you can switch to eStatements any time through digital banking.

If you have a chequing or lending account, you will receive monthly statements. Your first Coast Capital e-statement will arrive within the first week of December for your eStatement or by the second week of December for a paper statement.

If you have a savings, GIC or registered account, you will receive annual statements. Your first Coast Capital e-statement will arrive within the first two weeks of January or by the end of January for a paper statement.

Don't forget

Keep an eye on your mailbox throughout October, when eligible members will begin to receive their debit card and personal access code. Once you have both, you can sign up for digital banking. After you sign up for digital banking, download our app for iOS or Android so you can manage your money on the go.

Members whose primary address is in Quebec and deposit broker members will not receive a debit card. Additional instructions and steps will be sent to members who only have either a GIC, Registered Plan, loan or mortgage.
