Mobile Banking Agreements

Text Banking Agreement

  1. My registered mobile phone can be used to access certain information about my account(s) with Coast Capital Savings (including account balance and recent account transaction history) without having to provide any PIN, PAC or other password;
  2. I am wholly responsible for any unauthorized use of the mobile phone access service through my registered mobile phone by any person that occurs before I notify Coast Capital Savings that my registered mobile phone may have been lost or stolen;
  3. I am wholly responsible for all fees that my mobile phone service provider charges;
  4. My use of Coast Mobile Banking service is otherwise governed by my existing Coast Capital Savings account and services agreement, a copy of which is available on the Legal page or at any Coast Capital Savings branch.

Alerts Agreement

  1. My registered mobile phone and/or registered email address can be used to receive automatic alerts about my account(s) with Coast Capital Savings (including alerts about account transactions, account balances and other account activities) without having to provide any PIN, PAC or other password;
  2. I am wholly responsible for any unauthorized use of Mobile Alert services through my registered mobile phone and/or registered email address by any person. I understand that if my registered mobile phone is lost or stolen or my registered email address is somehow compromised, I will be required to disable and/or delete registration of that phone and/or email address by accessing Coast Online Banking.
  3. Coast Capital Savings is not responsible for any loss, damage or inconvenience experienced by me as a result of the following:
    1. Coast Capital Savings' delay or failure to send and/or my failure to receive, an automatic alert for any reason whatsoever;
    2. an automatic alert issued in error or containing inaccurate or incomplete information; or
    3. any disruption in Mobile Alert services for any reason whatsoever including but not limited to a disruption caused by my mobile phone and/or email service provider;
  4. I am wholly responsible for all fees that my mobile phone and/or email service provider charges;
  5. My use of Mobile Alert services is otherwise governed by my existing Coast Capital Savings account and services agreement, a copy of which is available on the Legal page or at any Coast Capital Savings branch.
