Cops For Cancer

Pedaling for youth with cancer.

Coast Capital Savings is the official Tour Sponsor of the Canadian Cancer Society Cops for Cancer tours.

Cops for Cancer is a partnership between the Canadian Cancer Society, local law enforcement and emergency services officers to raise funds for research into pediatric cancer, and support programs like Camp Goodtimes, a camp for children and youth who have been affected by cancer.

How you can help.

You can make a donation online, or stop your local branch to see what kind of fundraising they’re getting up to.

How we help.

Each year, our employees come together to raise funds to help youth living with cancer. They run silent auctions, paper bike sales, collect donations, and some even volunteer to have their head shaved. With help from our members, in 2017 we were able to raise $134,949.89.

This year’s campaign is from August 21 to October 5, 2018.

We're a proud partner.

Coast Capital has supported the Cops for Cancer tour since its inception 21 years ago. Thanks to the efforts of employees and members, we've donated more than $2.5 million to the Canadian Cancer Society to fund pediatric research and support programs like camp Goodtimes.

Watch how we're helping youth through Cops for Cancer.

We caught up with some of the Cops for Cancer riders to hear why they wanted to get involved and learn about the difference they’re making in the lives of youth affected by cancer.
