Strengthening and supporting our local communities has always been fundamental to who we are. Through our Youth Get It community investment program we do this by engaging and empowering youth in the decisions and choices that shape their communities. This includes investing 7% of our budgeted pre-tax profits annually in thoughtful and impactful initiatives that help youth with financial empowerment, educational success and healthy minds.

Since 2000, this has amounted to an investment of $60 million in local community programs.

As a financial institution, we recognize that our day-to-day operations have a number of impacts on the environment. We strive to foster a culture of environmental awareness and aim to minimize negative impacts while taking action to improve the world around us.

Our Help Headquarters is pending LEED Gold certification, and our Victoria Head Office is LEED certified, demonstrating support for sustainability through reduced environmental impact and a healthier workplace for our employees. We encourage sustainable commuting practices and actively support social venture incubator programs that aim to help solve social and environmental challenges.
