Getting started is easy.

This application is for folks who are new to Coast Capital Savings.
Already a member? Open additional accounts in the My Accounts section of Online Banking.

Step 1

Complete the online form.

This only takes about 10 minutes and you'll need:

  • A personalized cheque from a Canadian Financial Institution
  • Your social insurance number
  • Your employment information
  • One piece of government-issued photo identification

Within 3 business days we'll email you to confirm your approval.

Step 2

Buy your $5 share.

Once approved, you'll need to send us a $5 cheque drawn on a Canadian financial institution with your current address to cover your membership shares. If you're opening a joint account, we'll need two separate $5 cheques signed by each applicant.

Step 3

We'll contact you.

Once we receive your cheque, we'll call you to activate your account, order you a debit card and set up Coast Online Banking.
