Don started his career working with credit unions in British Columbia. He then moved into progressively more senior roles with financial institutions across Canada and internationally before returning to become the CFO of Coast Capital Savings. He studied mathematics and finance at the University of Toronto and the Stern School of Business at NYU, and is also a chartered accountant. Don is a member of the legislative affairs committee of Credit Union Central of Canada, and sits on the boards of the Kwantlen Polytechnic University Foundation and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of B.C. He enjoys working with the talented and collaborative people at Coast Capital Savings in providing Simple financial helpTM to our members. Don volunteers coaching youth athletics. He was selected as CFO of the Year by Business in Vancouver magazine in 2013.

Wayne leads the Commercial Services division, comprised of Business Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Equipment Financing, and Cash Management. He brings over 30 years of commercial and retail banking and wealth management experience with progressively senior roles at Lloyds Bank Canada and HSBC, and holds a BSc (Agricultural Economics) from the University of Alberta. A committed community builder, Wayne has served on the Vancouver Celebration of Lights Festival Board, Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta, United Way, and a Miracle Maker Panel member for the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. Wayne is Immediate Past National Chair of Hong Kong Canada Business Association, Honorary Secretary of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide and is a member of the Surrey Board of Trade, and the Urban Development Institute.

Lawrie manages all aspects of branding and is responsible for identifying and developing key marketing and public relations strategies. Her portfolio includes the Brand & Advertising, Public Affairs & Communications, and Strategy & Innovation departments. She holds a BCom (Marketing) from the University of British Columbia. Her marketing team was named Marketer of the Year by the BC Chapter of the American Marketing Association in 2006 and has been recognized as a "Marketer that Matters" by Marketing magazine. Lawrie is also on the Board of Directors for SEDI (Social and Enterprise Development Innovations), a charitable organization that works with community groups across Canada to help low-income Canadians become self-sufficient through financial literacy, saving and asset building, and entrepreneurship.

Erwin holds overall responsibility for Coast Capital’s technology operations; technology services; enterprise architecture; banking conversion; direct technology; enterprise project management and vendor management. Erwin has been in the IT sector since 1981 and has held Chief Information Officer roles for more than 13 years, with Silicon Valley Bank, Tamalpais Bank, and most recently with the US division of Rabobank, one of the world’s largest financial cooperatives. Erwin’s skills and experience extend beyond the nuts and bolts of running IT organizations, to include running large IT programs, integrating merging financial institutions, and developing unique IT strategies that accelerate business growth. Erwin is a graduate of Yale University, and an active volunteer in his community and church including many years on the local boards of Rebuilding Together.

As Chief Operating Officer, Kathy is responsible for developing strategy, direction and leadership for Coast Capital Savings lines of business; Retail, Wealth Management, and Life Insurance. Prior to joining Coast Capital Savings, Kathy held senior positions with CIBC and HSBC Canada. Kathy is a currently a Director of the Board for Glentel, a Canadian wireless product and service provider. She is also a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers, a graduate of the Queens University Executive Program, and Vancouver Board of Trade Leadership Vancouver. Committed to the community, Kathy is Vice-Chair of the Salvation Army Advisory Board and has been actively involved with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, the YWCA and BC Children’s hospital.
